Springtime Photos

Here are some photos of our preschoolers working on some Spring projects: butterflies and an Earth Day mural!
For the "What Color is your Butterfly?" project, the children practiced not only identifying all the colors, but also writing them in English. For our Earth Day mural, the children learned that we must take care of the fish, the sky, the trees, the birds and the Earth!

Aquí tienen algunas fotos de los niños trabajando en nuestros proyectos de primavera: las mariposas y un mural para el Día de la Tierra.
Para el proyecto "¿Qué color es tu mariposa?" los niños practicaron identificar y escribir todos los colores en inglés. Para el mural del Día de la Tierra, los niños aprendieron la frase "Hay que cuidar...". Cada niño ha coloreado una cosa que hay que cuidar para pegarlo en el mural (los peces, el cielo, los pájaros, los árboles y la Tierra).
Esta semana colgaremos más fotos de los preparativos para nuestra celebración del Día de la Tierra.

Earth Day Songs

This month, we have a very special celebration in store for our preschoolers, Earth Day!
Earth Day is celebrated each year on April 22nd. During the week of April 22nd-April 26th our preschoolers will participate in lots of fun activities to learn about the importance of caring for our Earth and protecting the environment. We will also talk about what it means to "Go Green" and "Reduce-Reuse-Recycle."

Below, you'll find two of the songs that we'll start to practice this week in honor of Earth Day!

Las canciones del Día de la Tierra

Este mes, celebraremos un día muy especial con nuestros alumnos de infantil, el Día de la Tierra.

Se celebra el Día de la Tierra cada 22 de abril. Durante la semana del 22 de abril, los niños participarán en muchas actividades para aprender sobre la importancia de cuidar la tierra y el medioambiente. También hablaremos del significado de "Go Green" y "Reduce-Reuse-Recycle".

A continuación, verán las letras de dos canciones que empezaremos a ensayar esta semana en anticipación del Día de la Tierra.

Spring Has Sprung!

Flowers are blooming, bees are buzzing, the sun is shining...Spring is in the air! To celebrate the start of Spring, our preschoolers will be learning new vocabulary and songs related to the spring season.

Let's Learn about Jobs!

In March, our preschoolers will begin to learn about jobs in their community, the places they work and the vehicles they use. Below are a few of the occupations we'll be learning about.

We'll also continue to practice our song "The Wheels on the Bus":

Los oficios

En marzo, los alumnos de infantil comenzarán a aprender los oficios que vemos en nuestra comunidad. Verán dónde trabajan y qué transporte utilizan. Abajo verán Uds. algunos de los oficios que forman parte de esta unidad.
También seguirán con la canción que ven arriba, "The Wheels on the Bus".
